Visiting Stockholm
Stockholm is a charming capital city famously formed by 14 hilly islands stacked with quintessential Neoclassical and Art Deco buildings painted in soft hues, which sprawl out into the Baltic Sea. Although it can be hard to get your bearings in Stockholm, the city is connected by a web of cute footbridges which take you from one distinctively stunning island to the next. While Gamla Stan, the historic old town, offers rustic vibes with cobbled streets and impressive landmarks, Södermalm is all about cool Scandi style and design. There’s even an island basically dedicated to museums, including the legendary Vasa Museum and Abba Museum. Of course, the scenery around Stockholm is what truly completes it, and a boat ride around its impressive archipelago is a must-do.
