Toronto FC are a professional men's football team who play in Major League Soccer's Eastern Conference. 

History

The club was founded in 2005 and joined MLS as an expansion team 2 years later, becoming the league's first Canadian representatives. 

Along with the Vancouver Whitecaps and CF Montreal – plus 8 Canadian Premier League teams and the champions of League1 Ontario and the Première ligue de soccer du Québec – they contest the Canadian Championship each year, which they have won many times. 

In 2017, they completed a domestic treble by winning the Canadian Championship, MLS Cup, and Supporters' Shield.
