📜 History

Opened in 2012, loanDepot Park is located on the site of the former Miami Orange Bowl in Little Havana, around 3 km west of the city's Downtown district.

With room for 37,00 fans, loanDepot Park was designed by Populous to reflect Miami's vibrant culture and famous coastal landscape. Bold and modern, the venue was the sixth in MLB to make use of a retractable roof, shielding fans from the city's hot and stormy climate. As one of MLB's smaller stadiums, the venue offers an intimate experience for visitors, with great views of the action on all levels. Colourful mosaic walkways surround the stadium and a retractable glass wall in the outfield offers spectacular views of the Miami skyline.

One of MLB's greenest stadiums, loanDepot Park continues to be a venue of choice for major tournaments and events. As well as being chosen to hold the 2017 MLB All-Star Game and Home Run Derby, the venue hosted games in the 2013, 2017, and 2023 World Baseball Classic.
